Southwest NB Community Liaison Committee Established - October 15, 2007

SAINT JOHN, NB : Brunswick Pipeline announced today that it has established a community liaison committee for the southwest portion of the transmission pipeline, with nine volunteer members representing a broad range of interests and geographic areas from Pocologan to
St. Stephen. A Saint John Community Liaison Committee with 10 members was established in mid-September.

"Both the Saint John and the Southwest NB committees will help broaden our understanding of community interests, and will complement our other public consultation and communication activities," said Susan Harris, Community Relations Manager. "We will work closely with the liaison committees throughout every phase of the pipeline’s development – from planning through to operation – to ensure public participation and input on community issues."

The Southwest NB liaison committee held its first meeting on October 2, 2007 and will continue to meet regularly on the first Wednesday of every second month. Represented on the Southwest NB committee are:
