Rob Belliveau began his career in the energy sector and brings more than 30 years of experience to his role as General Manager of Emera New Brunswick.
Rob graduated from St. Francis Xavier and Dalhousie Universities. He's been a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of New Brunswick since 1994.
As a Board Member for the Saint John Board of Trade, the Atlantica Centre for Energy and the Business Community Anti-Poverty Initiative, Rob has established himself as a valued member of New Brunswick's business community. He also serves as Emera's representative on the management committee of the Maritimes & Northeast Pipeline Partnership and the capital campaign for Dalhousie's Medical School at the University of New Brunswick.
Rob is also passionate about health and fitness lending his time to coach minor hockey and baseball in his community. Having spent time across the country, Rob now calls Quispamsis, NB home where he lives with his family.
Emera New Brunswick welcomed Susan Layton to its management team in March 2009. Through her liaison roles with Provincial and Federal government officials, and regulatory agencies such as the National Energy Board, Susan keeps Emera New Brunswick up-to-date with regulatory developments and trends in the energy industry across Canada.
Susan is a graduate of Hampton High School and currently resides in Saint John. She joins Emera New Brunswick from a prominent Saint John law firm where she practiced litigation and corporate/commercial law. She received her BBA with Distinction from the University of New Brunswick (UNB) Saint John and her degree in Law from UNB Fredericton. Active in the Saint John community, Susan serves on the Government Relations Committee with the Saint John Board of Trade, is a member of the Canadian Corporate Council Association with the Canadian Bar Association and former board member with the Saint John Victorian Order of Nurses.
Dina joined Emera New Brunswick in November of 2011. As the Community Relations Manager she is responsible for developing and implementing stategic communication and managing stakeholder and community relationships related to Emera's operations in New Brunswick. One of Dina's key roles is to enhance public awareness and understanding of the natural gas pipeline business. She also manages Emera New Brunswick's Environmental Management System, ensuring compliance with protocols and standards related to environmental stewardship.
Dina is a native of Halifax but now calls Saint John home. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Dalhousie University. Dina also graduated with a degree in Journalism from the University of Kings' College in Halifax. Dina has nearly a decade of experience in journalism and came to us from CTV News where she was a reporter/videographer for many years.
Life-long Saint John resident Karen Vickers joined Emera New Brunswick as Administrative Assistant in July 2009. No stranger to Emera, she had previously provided administrative support to staff and crews at the Emera Utility Services office, also located in Saint John.
Karen is a graduate of the New Brunswick Community College Business Accounting program, and possesses excellent organizational and communications skills. Though busy with a blended family of six, Karen has achieved her 2nd Dan black belt through JVK Taekwondo in Saint John, where she also assists with coaching and student development, curriculum development and marketing.
Jeff Tomah joined Emera New Brunswick in Spetember 2010. Jeff is the company's liaison with New Brunswick First Nations, working under two joint advisory committees in support of our two Union of First Nations agreements.
Jeff has extensive experience and knowledge of First Nations interests and issues. For more than 17 years he has been an elected leader in his home community of Woodstock First Nation, first as Band Councillor between 1994-2000, and as Chief for 10 years. Most recently, Jeff held the positions of Chairman of the Woodstock First Nation Gaming Commission, President of the St. John River Valley Tribal Council, Vice President of the Union of New Brunswick Indians (UNBI) organization, and sat for nine years on the Atlantic Policy Congress of First Nation Chiefs as a Board and then Executive member.
These qualificiations and experiences help enhance and further develop our relationship with the 15 First Nation communities in New Brunswick.
